About Us

The Eager Street Group was founded in 1987 as an independent consulting firm working with the growing number of entrepreneurial technology companies in the Baltimore-Washington region.  Its mission was to help these companies with their business plans and financial models and to assist them in finding private capital.

Eager Street has expanded its mission over the years to embrace new areas of growth consulting, such as leadership development and executive support.  At the same time it has grown its roster of partners and consultants, and today its professionals offer a broad range of financial and operational experience.  Our clients, while nearly always growth-oriented, now cover a wider range of sizes and industries.

The important things have not changed.  We are a relationship-based firm, not a transaction-based one.  Each of us has years of experience working in entrepreneurial enterprises.  Our role is to apply this experience base to bring forth our clients' maximum potential.
